our task was to design a label system for an array of presentations—jars for jams and butters, bottles for spicy sauces, the classic ketchup and beverages such as kamboucha and pressed juices. our design principles were restrictive to kraft and black or white ink. our concern was to keep it simple, yet smart, which we did.
